Effective protection against structure-borne noise and vibrations in buildings.
Ideal for residential and commercial buildings in urban areas, near railway lines, or industrial facilities – our systems enhance comfort and help preserve long-term property value.
Acoustic Floor Blocks
Acoustic Floor Blocks are ideally suited for applications requiring outstanding performance at low frequencies. Based on Sylomer® material, they are point-support elastomer elements designed for use beneath both dry and wet screed systems.
Thanks to their excellent dynamic properties, these products are particularly suitable for creating low-frequency tuned floating floors. For many years, they have been an established solution in recording studios, cinemas, theaters, and stage construction projects around the world.
Efficient Sound Insulation for Ceilings
BS Trading offers high-performance solutions for the resilient decoupling of suspended ceilings. With a natural frequency of ≤ 10 Hz, these products effectively reduce sound transmission, even in the low-frequency range.
Compared to conventional suspension systems, these innovative solutions can improve the weighted normalized impact sound pressure level (Ln,w + CI 50–2500) by up to 11 dB.
Simple Decoupling with g-fit Gear
Treadmills, exercise bikes, cross trainers, and other fitness equipment generate vibrations and noise during use. With g-fit Gear, these machines can be easily retrofitted with vibration isolation, preventing disturbances in adjacent rooms and ensuring uninterrupted use of surrounding spaces.

g-fit Gear is an ideal solution for all types of fitness equipment. The modular, customizable system is easy to install, maintenance-free, and designed for long-term performance.
Impact Reduction with g-fit Shock Absorb
g-fit Shock Absorb has been specifically developed for free-weight areas and workout zones exposed to exceptionally high impact loads. Laboratory and real-world drop tests have demonstrated noise reduction of up to 29 dB(A).

In addition, g-fit Shock Absorb effectively absorbs sudden impacts, reducing the transfer of force into the building structure while minimizing the rebound of dropped weights. This not only helps protect the building structure and neighboring occupants from excessive noise, but also enhances athlete safety during training.
GEPI Angle Connector
During both the design and construction phases, acoustic bridges must be avoided. In addition to the highly effective Sylodyn® strips, angle connectors play a key role in achieving this. In collaboration with an established partner from the timber construction industry, Getzner has developed elastically decoupled angle connectors that are both acoustically tested and structurally approved.
GEPI Connect is available in three different versions. They are suitable for both timber-to-timber and timber-to-concrete connections and carry an ETA (European Technical Assessment) approval, ensuring reliable structural verification and compliance.
High-Load Elastomer Bearings
Our Sylodyn® HRB HS bearing solutions have been specifically developed for use in building construction. They provide reliable and efficient protection against vibrations and shocks caused by external sources such as railway and road traffic.

At the same time, they enable the controlled transfer of high concentrated loads within the building structure, for example beneath columns, walls, or pile foundations. Depending on the project requirements, the bearings are available in point-support, strip-support, or custom-designed configurations.

Resilient Building Isolation
Effective vibration isolation is essential for protecting buildings from shocks, vibrations, and noise, particularly in urban environments where high-quality building land is becoming increasingly scarce. Constructing buildings on dynamically loaded sites requires intelligent engineering solutions.
The primary sources of mechanical vibrations are often nearby transportation infrastructure, especially underground rail systems such as metro and suburban railway lines. These can generate disturbing noise and perceptible vibrations that affect surrounding buildings and occupant comfort.

Impact Sound Insulation
Impact sound is generated through the normal use of rooms. It is transmitted through the floor structure into adjacent rooms and lower floors, where it is perceived as unwanted noise. For example, footsteps on parquet flooring can significantly affect the comfort of occupants in neighboring apartments.
Effective impact sound insulation minimizes sound transmission and significantly improves the acoustic performance of a building without limiting the choice of flooring materials. In multi-purpose and multi-occupancy buildings, high-quality acoustic insulation is essential for long-term comfort and compliance with building standards.
Isolation of Solid Staircases
Movement within buildings—such as walking—generates structure-borne sound, which can be transmitted through walls and floors into adjacent rooms. A common but easily preventable source of disturbance is noise originating from stairwells. The resilient isolation of stair flights and landings significantly reduces the transmission of noise and vibrations to surrounding structural elements.
For effective resilient decoupling, Sylomer® provides a high-performance engineering material suitable for a wide range of staircase constructions. Depending on the application, it can achieve an impact sound improvement of more than 40 dB.
Steel-Reinforced Elastomer Bearings
Steel-reinforced elastomer bearings combine high-performance polyurethane elastomers with integrated steel reinforcement layers to support high loads within a minimal installation area. This design makes them ideal for heavily loaded applications where limited space must be combined with high load-bearing capacity and effective vibration isolation.

Typical applications include point bearings beneath columns or multiple point bearings arranged along load-bearing walls in multi-storey buildings.
Sylodyn® Strip Bearings
The joint sound reduction index (Kij) plays a crucial role in the transmission of flanking sound, as it indicates the acoustic coupling at structural junctions. With the appropriate decoupling solution, it is even possible to eliminate the need for an additional lining wall in certain applications.

Sylodyn® stands out for its excellent dynamic properties and exceptional long-term durability. It is resistant to moisture, as well as to common construction oils and greases, and has proven its performance in both practical applications and independent laboratory testing over several decades. These characteristics make it an ideal material for the resilient isolation of structural joints.

Sylodyn® Washers
As part of a comprehensive acoustic insulation solution, bolted connections are among the most critical structural fastening elements.
To effectively prevent acoustic bridges, proper installation is essential, along with the use of resiliently decoupled Sylodyn® washers, which minimize the transmission of structure-borne sound through mechanical connections.
Sylomer® Edge Isolation Strips
BS Trading offers an excellent solution for preventing acoustic bridges with its Sylomer® Edge Insulation Strip. Even small acoustic bridges can reduce the effectiveness of a sound insulation system by up to 10 dB, making continuous resilient decoupling—such as around floating screeds—essential during both the design and installation phases.
Resilient Wall Lining Bracket
Resilient wall lining systems are commonly used in drywall construction to reduce sound transmission to and from adjacent rooms. Mounted on Sylomer® resilient bearings, these wall linings provide highly effective acoustic insulation by minimizing the direct transmission of structure-borne sound.
The resilient mounting system significantly reduces sound radiation and delivers an airborne sound insulation improvement of up to 4 dB compared with conventional fixing systems. Its acoustic performance remains highly effective even in the low-frequency range below 250 Hz.
